Why did you choose Sorrento & the Amalfi Coast as your travel destination?
Since I was little watching one of my favourite movies Only You I have always wanted to visit the Amalfi Coast and I chose to stay in Sorrento as it looked like such a beautiful town.
Describe with a single word your trip in Sorrento.
Which was your favourite place and would you visit again?
My favourite place in the Amalfi Coast was actually a surprise to me as I honestly hadn’t heard of this place before. Ravello, I will certainly visit this town again.
It was the most beautiful little town with the most breathtaking views. There is views with amazing greenery on one side and the other is just water and mountains as far as the eye can see.
What activity would you recommend to anyone?
What food did you enjoy the most? Can you share your favourite places to eat?
I don’t think I can really say a favourite food as I ate so much delicious food but some of my favourite places to eat were:
- O’ Parrucchian
- Da Franco (Pizzeria)
What was your favourite travel experience?
I honestly did not have a favourite travel experience as the whole Amalfi Coast trip was truly amazing but cruising the sea to Capri Island with Fernando was an amazing experience.
Where did you take the best picture?
I think the best picture I took was in Positano closely followed by the unsuspected favourite place, Ravello!
What is your best memory? Your most incredible travel moment?
I have to say that my most incredible travel moment was the step on the last step and walking around the corner and seeing Positano from the bottom looking up. It was like a movie moment for me. I actually shed a little tear as it was a place I had always wanted to see and it was just as beautiful as I had seen in movies and photos.
What would be your 3 main tips for someone wanting to travel to Sorrento?
Spend a day just walking the streets of Sorrento. This town feels like a movie set. It was the best atmosphere of any place I visited in Italy. So take it all in.
Our favourite restaurants were in the main town. The Marinas are beautiful but the best food we had was in the town.
Try the gelato at Raki! The best gelato in Italy!
